Macarthy Bridles specialises in the crafting of made to measure, hand stitched, English leather bridles and head collars.
Based in Hampshire, Macarthy Bridles aims to offer you a personal, bespoke and professional service, to help you get perfect fitting leatherwork for your horse.
From the start, we offer you a personalised service, visiting you and your horse to discuss your requirements and to take specific measurements.
From these measurements, we produce a template bridle, for you to view the size and shape of your chosen bridle. This gives us both the chance to make any final adjustments required. Once you are happy with the template, we then cut, prepare and hand stitch our first grade Sedgewick’s English Leather to create your horse’s final bridle.
Our personalised service ends with a final fitting of your new bridle. During this fitting, we make sure your bridle is exactly as it should be when it is in place on your horse.
In addition, if your bridle is a gift for a friend of member of your family, we also offer a gift wrapping service of your final piece
